The Story
Anupa Mehta Contemporary Art (AMCA) shows the work of international mid-career artists with unique vocabularies. It was founded in 2008 with residencies and studio exhibitions aimed at supporting artists and curators of merit. Over 16 years the gallery has shown the work of several Indian and international artists. Among the fore-runners of the Indian art scenario, the founder is known for her cutting edge programming and edgy curation.
Authenticity and integrity are key commitments that inform the gallery’s curatorial vision and defines its position within the contemporary art landscape. Thus, emerged the need for a website which served as a natural extension of her curation. This later evolved into a collaborative digital and print design retainer for all the gallery’s future exhibitions.
